Alaska Scenery

Well, we certainly do get around! Kurt is in LA in the big white truck still. And Joanie is in Juneau Alaska on a Head Start Review. Here are a couple scenes from today in the rainy north country.
This eagle was just sitting in the tree near the side of the road. I could acutally see his eyes twitch.

This is the foot of the Mendenhall Glacier- It is just a few miles from our hotel. Very spectacular even in the grey light.

WOW- the sun did come out on Thursday- Juneau is a spetacular sight- especially with 6 inches of new snow!.
